Ash Cottage holiday cottage
Ash Cottage is the perfect choice to get away from it all -
Relax in the sunny, south-facing courtyard, stroll along the quiet country lanes, or see where the road takes you - rugged cliffs, sandy coves, fishing harbours, sleepy villages, or the wilds of Dartmoor- all a short drive away. Also - you can park off-road, directly outside your cottage.
Luxury accommodation. Converted from a traditional detached Devon stone and cob barn, our holiday cottage is furnished and equipped to a high standard. The lounge has a wide-screen colour TV with freeview, DVD player and video. A selection of tapes, DVDs and books are provided for your use. The cottage is next to the main farmhouse and there is plenty of off-road parking. We keep our own free-range hens and graze sheep on our land. So, if you like the countryside, you will love it here.

Sleeps four adults plus cot
Comfortable lounge-diner
The two generous bedrooms will sleep four adults and a baby/toddler. The downstairs bedroom has two single divan beds and a large cot, whilst the upstairs gallery has a king size bed. Storage heaters are fitted throughout.
The kitchen is fully fitted and equipped to a high standard, with integrated appliances, including feezer.
Why so reasonable? We now have regular visitors, so we are able to look after our own bookings and save you the commission you would normally pay to a National Holiday Company (typically about 30%). We would rather keep the cottage occupied, than have it empty.
Perfectly situated to explore North Devon and Cornwall
One of Bude's fine bathing beaches - lifeguard cover in season.
Ash Cottage is just 5 miles away from Holsworthy, a traditional Devon market town.
Continue a few miles further and you reach Bude, perfect for a family day at the seaside.
We are ideally placed for exploring North Devon and North Cornwall. If you prefer to go inland, a day exploring Dartmoor makes a nice change, or you can even visit North Tawton, where 'Jam and Jerusalem' was filmed. It's fun spotting the various buildings and of course, the cheese factory.
